Founders & Board of Directors

Brad Loiselle, PMP
President and CEO, Founder
Brad Loiselle is the President and Founder of SKILLSdox O/A betterU and the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors for SKILLSdox India Private LTD, the operating Indian entity of SKILLSdox. Brad believes that education is a human right for all and he is focused on changing the world by providing access to quality, affordable education to the emerging markets.

A serial entrepreneur, Brad sees opportunities where most do not. Prior to founding the Company, he was the President and Founder of two successful companies. While being the catalyst for SKILLSdox O/A betterU, he feels he is nothing without the people behind and in front of him. Brad is a strategic thinker focused on staying ahead of his opponents, while always working to achieve a win/win solution.

Brad is the Past-President and Board Member of PMI OVOC, sat on the Board of Directors for the Indo-Canada Ottawa Business Chamber and authored the entrepreneurial handbook – Keep Moving 4Ward.

He is a husband, father of 3, serial entrepreneur, author and enthusiastic speaker – passionate about making a difference.

Anthony Keenan
Chairman of the Board
Anthony Keenan has served on the board of Skillsdox since 2013.

After serving as an Officer in the Canadian Forces, he held senior executive positions in a a number of international publishing and educational companies, including Xerox Education Group, Librarie Hachette- Paris and World Book Encyclopedia- Chicago. After moving back to Canada, he was Chairman and CEO of Regal Greetings and Gifts and took the company public with a listing on the TSX.

He then formed a consulting company that bought and sold a marketing services company; consulted for a large media company in Brazil; consulted for the largest educational firm in Japan; and assisted in a number of business relationships, particularly in Asia. He assisted the Beijing University of Applied Technology in the launch of a new business training program. Mr. Keenan has been recognized by the Canadian Marketing Association as Canadian Marketer of the Year on two occasions and has been honored with a lifetime membership.

He has served on numerous public and private company boards including Regal, MDC Corp., Minacs Worldwide, CML Industries, DMS Services

Mr. Keenan was also able to devote his time for not for profit organizations and served on the boards of The United Way, Children’s Miracle Network, Mount Sinai Hospital, RCMP Foundation and the Toronto Artillery Foundation.

Praveen Varshney

Praveen Varshney has been a driving force in the Vancouver business world. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 1987.  Following that, he was with KPMG from 1987 to 1991 where he obtained his C.A. designation in 1990. He is a long time member and past President of the Vancouver chapter of The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and a founding director of the Vancouver chapter of The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE).  Mr. Varshney was a 12 year member of the Sauder School of Business Faculty Advisory Board, a former Director of The Vancouver Board of Trade, and a past recipient of Business in Vancouver’s 40 Under 40 Awards.  He is also a director of the Varshney Family Charitable Foundation, a SVP Vancouver Partner, and a Director of and a Founding Member of He’s also on the Advisory boards of Room to Read – Vancouver, Heart & Stroke Foundation – BC Yukon and The Thomas Edison Innovation Foundation in New Jersey, USA.
Raj Dewan

Mr. Dewan advises on all facets of corporate and securities law, using his experience on cross-border transactions in and from Canada with emerging markets. He is currently advising Asian FinTech companies on all aspects of corporate finance, cross-border partnerships and much more.  Mr. Dewan is a partner in the Capital Markets and M&A group and also has experience withing with the Ontario Securities Commission’s Small and Medium Enterprises Committee. He is also deeply involved in entrepreneurship, serving as a charter member and member of the board of directors of the Toronto Chapter of TiE Global, an international network of 15,000 entrepreneurs. He also acts as a mentor and legal advisor to the Toronto Chapter of the Founder Institute, based in Silicon Valley.
Robert (Ravinder) Kang

Mr. Kang has been self-employed since April 2015. He was the Director of Listed Issuer Services and held other positions with TMX Group from March 1992 to March 2015. He is a Corporate Finance professional who is experienced in all aspects of Exchange policy, corporate governance and public company obligations. Mr. Kang is currently the principal behind RSJ Consulting Inc., a firm that provides Corporate Finance advice. Mr. Kang received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia in 1988 and obtained his C.A. designation at Ernst and Young.
Michael A. Gerrior

Michael A. Gerrior is an Ottawa business lawyer specializing in corporate finance, franchising & licensing, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and more. As a partner at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall, Michael A. Gerrior assists his clients with mergers and acquisitions, cross-border deals, securities matters, and corporate governance. He acts for Canadian and international clients buying and selling business ventures in Canada and throughout the world. In addition, he has concluded private placements, venture capital transactions, initial public offerings, and reverse takeovers on various exchanges, including NASDAQ, CDNX, TSE, and ME.

Michael has considerable corporate governance experience, providing strategic advice to corporations on their ongoing business operations, including joint ventures, foreign licensing, shareholders agreements, stock option plans, wealth planning, and strategic acquisitions for both private and public corporations in the U.S. and Canada. He has led some of the largest financings of both debt and equity in Canada. Prior to joining the firm, Michael was an executive vice-president with a large Canadian multinational public corporation.

Michael received his LL.B. from McGill University and also holds a bachelor’s degree in arts from St. Francis Xavier University and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
